Welcome

Welcome to BRISA online. BRISA is the Blackburn Rovers Independent Supporters Association, a group dedicated to uniting Rovers fans and improving communication between the fans and the club. You can now become a part of BRISA by following the 'Join Brisa' link above.

Our mission statement:
"Representing the best interests of Blackburn Rovers supporters everywhere"

We believe BRISA offers the potential to become the largest, democratic fans' organisation, ever to represent Blackburn Rovers supporters.

BRISA have recently met with John Williams and Tom Finn to discuss the BRISA Attendance document. The document, made up of suggestions from BRISA members and other Rovers fans, contained a number of ideas and proposals to the club regarding issues such as ticket pricing and local transport to the ground. The meeting was, on the whole, a positive experience and it gave both parties something to think about. Two BRISA members have since met with the club and following these two meetings BRISA has produced a second document which has been posted/emailed to all members. One of the things the club have asked BRISA to look at is the issue of the atmosphere at the ground. Obviously this is heavily influenced by the attendence and thus is something we can look at as part of our drive to bring more people to Ewood. We are currently collating ideas from Rovers fans about ideas or changes they'd like to increase the Ewood atmosphere - please Email to send us your ideas.

BRISA are currently formalising a proposal for the creation of regional groups. Whether you have a group of three or four people, or whether your plan to have a big organisation such as Manchester BRISA, it is up to you. Our proposal is solely concerned with aiding groups of people who support Rovers, whatever the size, to organise transport, ticketing etc to make their trips to Ewood easier and more regular.
